| Description: |
The Corporation of the City of Elliot Lake is seeking proposals from qualified consultants to undertake a Feasibility Study for the adaptive reuse of the former United Church located at 40 Hillside Drive North in Elliot Lake, Ontario. The City has acquired this property and is exploring its potential redevelopment as a multi-purpose civic and cultural facility that could include a Community Museum, Visitor Welcome Centre, and Performing Arts Space. The feasibility study will evaluate the site’s physical condition, functionality, accessibility, financial viability, and operational sustainability, and provide recommendations regarding potential redevelopment options. The selected consultant will be responsible for delivering a comprehensive report that includes market analysis, stakeholder engagement, governance and operating models, capital and operating cost estimates, and an implementation strategy to guide City Council’s decision-making regarding the proposed redevelopment. |
